Today we will not have our regular worship video and will have more of an asynchronous worship time. We invite you to explore the final steps of Jesus' journey to the cross through the resource below from The Bible Project. 

1. WATCH THE VIDEO. If you would like to read the scripture passages that inspire the video, you can read Luke chapters 19-23. 

2. Try the "Read and Discuss" section on The Bible Project page, "Good Friday". 

3. PRAYER TIME:

God of judgment and mercy, we draw near to you, and pray that you will draw near to us. Hear our confession. Our hands need cleansing, for they have participated in systems of injustice and violence. Our hearts need purifying, for they have been wooed by the power and hatred of the world. God of mercy, hear our prayers for healing and restoration. As the cross looms before us, may we walk in the pathway of Jesus, who took on our brokenness, yet pointed in hope toward your promise of new life. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN. 4. SENDING BLESSING:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, Washer of feet, show us how to care for each other. Teach us to love as you did. Give us hands that are worthy
